Deep Anti-glare COB Magnetic Spotlight for Residential & Commercial Projects
If you are working on high-end residential, boutique hotel or art gallery projects, glare control is always one of the top priorities. Ordinary spotlights may create harsh bright spots that distract visitors or make occupants feel uncomfortable. This is where deep anti-glare COB magnetic spotlights stand out. Built for 48V low voltage magnetic track systems, they deliver focused light while hiding the light source from direct view.
Where we normally use deep anti-glare COB magnetic spotlights
This fixture is widely picked by lighting designers for spaces that require both focused lighting and visual comfort.
- Villa living rooms and show flats
- Boutique hotel suites and corridor accent lighting
- Art galleries, painting and sculpture display zones
- High-end retail shops, watch and jewellery counters
Not every project needs deep anti-glare versions. For general ambient lighting, standard magnetic spotlights work fine. But for premium projects where lighting experience matters, deep anti-glare models are the safer choice.
Key specifications to confirm before placing order
Before sending an RFQ, go through these points with your supplier to avoid mismatched goods.
- Cut-off angle: Deep anti-glare usually comes with a cut-off angle above 30 degrees. The bigger the cut-off angle, the harder it is to see the light chip directly.
- CRI and CCT: Most high-spec projects require CRI 90 or above. Common CCT options are 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K.
- Beam angle: 15° for narrow accent lighting on artworks; 24° is the most popular general accent option; 36° for slightly wider object lighting.
- Working voltage: Strictly 48V DC, designed to match our 48V magnetic track series. Do not mix it with 24V or mains voltage tracks.
- Optical structure: Two mainstream options – reflector type and lens type. Reflector versions offer softer edge transition, while lens models provide tighter light focus.
Common mistakes buyers run into
We have met many project buyers who ran into problems because they mixed up anti-glare grades.
- Treating shallow anti-glare as deep anti-glare. Shallow anti-glare only reduces glare slightly. It cannot meet the inspection standard for gallery and luxury hotel projects.
- Overlooking total load calculation. Every magnetic driver has a maximum output wattage. Adding too many spotlights on one track will lead to flicker or short service life.
- Ignoring colour consistency. If you order spotlights from different batches without binning requirement, colour difference will be obvious after installation.
- Choosing too narrow beam angles for large area accent lighting. This creates scattered bright dots instead of uniform effect.
RFQ checklist you can send directly to your supplier
Copy this list when you inquire, it helps your supplier quote accurately.
- Quantity of deep anti-glare COB magnetic spotlights
- Wattage per unit
- CCT and CRI requirement
- Beam angle selection
- Optical type: reflector or lens
- Colour tolerance / binning requirement
- Certification needed (CE, EMC etc.)
- Delivery lead time
- Packing requirement
FAQ
Q: Can deep anti-glare COB spotlights fit all magnetic tracks?
A: Only compatible with standard 48V DC magnetic track systems. Check the track width and interface before ordering.
Q: Is deep anti-glare much more expensive than regular magnetic spotlights?
A: Yes, there is a small price gap, mainly from the special anti-glare cup and precise optical design. It is worth the cost for premium projects.
Q: Can we change the beam angle after production?
A: Normally no. Beam angle is decided by the reflector or lens used. Confirm this specification at the inquiry stage.
